I am involved in the health and fitness community through my education in sports management at the University of Canterbury. I have applied my skills in the workforce by working at the Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust as a Rehabilitation Coach. I have hands-on experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and I have become adept at working alongside clients with brain, spinal, and other injuries. I have developed a diverse skill set, which includes admin and computer skills with different programs. In my current role as a sports analyst, I work to collect data and study different sports strategic patterns. This role has given me patience and analytical skills that are needed to succeed. Helping people remains my passion, and I feel that it is my purpose. Whether rehabilitating clients or assisting in the mental health space, it gives me satisfaction that I am making a difference.
