Julian Attaway

My primary responsibilities have included teaching online and overseeing the native-English teaching staff with the goal of improving performance. My current major tasks are editing, correcting IELTS assignments, and writing and illustrating curriculum for teaching English in levels 2-5 throughout Asia. I also developed and led corporate training workshops and appeared in commercial promotions on behalf of Gjun ABC Online.

As a classroom teacher for K-7 students, I used multiple pedagogical approaches to include and interest students. These included photography, music, art, science, and drama.

As the Senior Pastor of a multicultural restart church , I taught, counseled, and motivated multiple generations and cultures through various life transitions. Job requirements included fund raising and acting as a liaison for civic leaders. Developing and directing city-wide programs in arts and coordinating community service efforts were highlights of my pastorate.

Planning and realizing special events from private dinners to Country Music Association (CMA) Award parties required excellent communication, strong leadership, flexibility, and a willingness to pitch in at all levels. This job helped me learn to be organized and focused in high pressure situations.

I was contracted to write one feature article, one interview, and once specialty article each month for this periodical.
