My job was make ready, I was responsible for making sure the machines were geared and ready for use.
The process of that was to find the correct cylinders for the job and put them on moving carts, after that was completed, the next step of the job was to find the gears and put them on a gear hub.
Once that was finished I'd screw in the gears to the gear hub and put the gear hub on the cylinders.

For this position, the main job was to melt different types of metal to make iron and send it across the plant.
The challenges for this job was to stay hydrated because it was very hot, especially in the summer.
It was over 100 degrees! Other challenges were to keep a strong sense of focus, because one small slip up could end up really bad or fatal.
The management was really good about being safe, but it still was a dangerous job.
The attributes needed for this job would be self motivated, focused, attention to detail, good listener, safe worker, flexible, quick on your feet.
