  • Some of the skills I picked up at Electric boat contain Hook up jobs, Stripping cables we also were taught how to use lay out sheets and how to read them as well as how to shoot studs on to the submarine. I also have used hand and power tools to route wireways, install panels, and support system testing, Worked under strict safety and quality standards in a high-security, high-accountability environment. Assisted journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems aboard naval submarines. So to sum it up my skills consist of Electrical System Installation & Maintenance
  • Why I'm Driven to Work in the Electrical Union Since starting at General Dynamics Electric Boat, I've realized that electrical work isn't just a job for me it's something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I love working with my hands, solving problems, and seeing systems come to life. I'm driven to join the union because I want to build a long-term career in a trade where I can continue learning, be part of a brotherhood that values skill and hard work, and contribute to projects that matter.
