Experience
During my senior year I prepared for student teaching at the CPS school Galileo Scholastic Academy of Math and Science located in Little Italy. I started here in the Fall of 2023 and I began officially student teaching in the Spring of 2024. I was placed in a 2nd grade classroom. Here at Galileo I have gotten the privilege of working with an experienced mentor, collaborating with amazing teachers, and building relationships with students.
Aside from student teaching, I had the pleasure of visiting multiple schools all throughout Chicago during my 2023-2024 Junior year at UIC. I gained experience in grade levels ranging from preschool to 4th grade. During my time at these schools I collaborated with teachers, engaged in lesson planning, and most importantly I got to know the community.
