- Autism Training 2 year grant through ADE (Arizona Department of Education)
- This grant taught me how to communicate and work with behaviors that children on the Autism Spectrum exhibit.
- Acquired great knowledge about applied behavioral analysis, sensory diets, triggers, antecedents, and visual supports to name a few, which all support children on the Autism Spectrum.
- Provided behavioral and academic supports for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities, Bi-Polar, Emotional Disorders, Downs Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Attention Deficit Disorders.
- During my six years, I created and lead three different Professional Developments for staff, parents and the school district on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Communicating with the teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and parents on a consistent basis, sharing and receiving strategies for success.
- Writing Individual Education Plans for 30 (different) students, Functional Behavioral Assessment's, Behavioral Implementation Plan's, behavior contracts, 504 plans and incentive programs.
