  • Currently working in the Claims Department as an Associate Claims Examiner
  • This position involves adjusting and resolving General Liability Third Party claims which are an easy to moderate level
  • Losses are assigned on a daily basis and need to be processed in both Mustang and CMS
  • Those in Mustang are converted from an incident to a claim and then Risk Codes are assigned in both systems
  • Set reserves, review claim documentation, and make contact with both the insured and claimant within the time limit that is set
  • Process and profile all information received including any documentation, notes, and/or correspondence that is received
  • Draft correspondence letters which include requesting more information if needed, coverage and/or declinations letters to both insured and claimant regarding the loss
  • Apply critical thinking and investigate to assure that there are no fraudulent acts or emerging exposures
  • Negotiate settlement of claims when possible
