Principal and 7/8 Homeroom Teacher

  • Principal and 7/8 Homeroom Teacher. In this role I teach in the morning rotations. I have office hours after school or during the afternoon on Tuesdays. All Administrative and student behavioral management responsibilities directly given to me. Creating a manageable MTSS for the school. Mentoring teachers, teacher evaluation professional development, team building conflict resolution, budget management, Parent and community engagement, building positive relationship with students, staff and parents, effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Technology integration with curriculum, special education management, crisis management, understanding of education trends.

Lead Teacher/Assistant Principal

  • Lead Teacher/Assistant Principal along with grades 5/6 Homeroom Teacher. In this role I assist the Pastor/Principal with any and all matters. He is often called out of the building and I step into the leadership role. I have worded the staff meetings as "Tech Tuesday" professional development to increase staff comfort with programs used in the classrooms. I have experience working with both the online state testing and Title I/Auxiliary services funding. I am fluent with the budgeting and ordering for both Title 1 and Auxiliary services for schools. I have experience working with ODE and the use/submission of the Cleveland Vouchers for schools. I currently Teach religion and technology to all grades 5-8 as well as assist with the school wide issues of assistant principal.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My husband is a liver transplant recipient and is waiting for a kidney. We spend a great deal of time in doctors offices. When we can relax we will spend a great deal of time exploring nature through the lens of a camera.
