Refinishing Furniture, Minimalism, Sewing

I take old dressers and nightstands and give them new life by stripping away old finishes, sanding, modifying legs or adding new ones, staining and / or painting the body and drawers, and adding new hardware.

I'm constantly decluttering our house to live in a more minimalistic manner and I help others do the same with the goal of finding peace. My under construction recently started Facebook Page is 'Simplify with Julie'.

I mostly modify clothes at this point with my sewing machine, but I formerly made clothes. Now I just use it for our family.
