I served as a Click Pre-K Special Needs Teacher during the 2020-2021 SY. Our program was called the Pre-K Kingdom. I was Queen Jules and my aides served as duchesses. We decorated our classroom in a kingdom motif, appeared in costumes, and called our students princes and princesses. We had a mascot, Aliwishus, who was a dragon. We taught four groups of students, 28 total. We assessed and then placed them into groups based on abilities. We delivered supplies, taught lessons, read books, and provided daily activities to be completed on their off=screen time. These activities were typically art=based learning, had manipulatives, or involved science or nature. We also provided guidance and support to their parents.
