• Taught Peritoneal dialysis classes for nursing education and annual review since 2010.
• Resource peritoneal dialysis procedures throughout Benioff Children's Hospital as requested by nursing staff.

Code Care:

• Represented UCSF bedside nursing in the creation of the first UC Code Care team.
• Gathered and presented bedside nursing experiences from which the pilot team could learn escalation scenarios within BCH as experienced by bedside care professionals.
• Created and presented recommendations for Code Care procedures.
• As the only bedside care provider, I represented bedside perspective, advocated for patient and bedside care provider safety and provided workflow of the bedside care provider.

Material Service/ Nurse expert

• Organized all supply carts in C5 MSP and C5 TCUP for the move from Parnassus to Mission Bay.
• Worked closely with Marie Pompa and the Material Service staff to stock our carts with the correct supplies and the correct par in easy to access and find spaces.
• Sat on the hospital wide Products Committee advocating for products acute care nurses require to care for a diverse patient population.
• Educated C5 nurses on how Material Service orders and maintains stock products and how best to order the products required to care for C5 patients.

Mock Code facilitator for over ten years.

• Created Mock Code nursing guides for C5 Mock Code.

Acuity Grid Standardization Committee.

• Assisted in creating the Pediatric Hospital standardized acuity grid prior to Clarvia automated acuity.

Intra Vascular Access Committee

• Sat on the IV Access Committee creating UCSF Pediatric vascular access Procedure.
• Assisted Nursing Education in teaching IV skills classes and annual review.

Flu Deputy for over 10 years.

• Top 3 Flu Deputy vaccinators 2 years in a row (2021 and 2022).

Precepted new nurse residents.

• Current mentor to Hazel Garverick, RN
• Mentored a Cap Stone student 2023.

Co-Chair the Social Drivers of Health TCUP Pilot.

• Advised on social risks most prevalently seen in the TCUP population
• Advised on TCUP SDOH assessment and intervention workflow.
• Educated and resource TCUP nurses on roll out.
