My primary responsibilities are quality assurance and employee education.

As our center's QA nurse, I am responsible for auditing daily nurses notes, medication administration records, employee files and client charts. I am adept at maintaining attention to detail for extended periods of time. I utilize client's EMRs and research rare medical conditions in order to assure our clients receive the best care.

My care. Educating and preparing our nurses and clinical aides is also vital to prepare them for day to day care as well as medical emergencies. I create and oversee Mock Emergency /Code scenarios, where staff are able to practice the skills and decision making necessary to keep our clients healthy. My experience with charting allow me to act as a resource person for the staff nurses to make sure their documentation shows the care they rendered and compliance with orders.
