Retired Special Education Teacher

Aurora Public Schools Foundation
Aurora, CO
07.2016 - 11.2016

I took an early retirement in November 2016 after teaching special education for 19 years. Currently, I am seeking a full time or part time position.

I am a dedicated, hard working & punctional employee. I strive to put 100% in every task required of me.

I believe the most important skill in working relationships is establishing a trusting relationship or rapport with another. It's important to note that everyone has this need to be valued as they are. It's human nature. No one will ever see eye to eye on how things should be, however if we truly value input from all, we are sending a message that others opinions matter & count. It's how we come together with a plan that will allow all of us to become the most productive as a whole. Only as a whole where each voice is heard & valued can we be the most efficient in our roles. Having our voice heard is personal and should be done face to face. That speaks volumes to those of us who wrote on a message board and the response is clear, black & white, it's never personal, nor should it on a message board. Human interactions are lacking. People often feel forgotten and undervalued for the work they do.
