I have over 29 years in experience in the medical field. I was an a office manager for a Family Practice Dr for 12 years before coming to AdventHealth. I have worked in the Pre Access Department for over 15 years now and where I have learned the process of verifying insurances, working up estimates, collecting copays, deductibles and coinsurance's and making sure that authorizations are obtained for surgical procedures. I have a good relationship with all the offices that I deal with on a daily basis when it comes to making sure that authorizations are in place. I have work experience with Cerner, Athena and now Epic.
