• Hyland OnBase EDM Solution – Led the implementation of Hyland OnBase to replace manual, paper-based processes with automated digital workflows and electronic forms, significantly improving operational efficiency and document accessibility across the district.
• Custom Online Student Transfer Application – Led the full development lifecycle of a web-based form system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of student transfer requests.
• Attendance Sign-In/Sign-Out Portal – Spearheaded the creation of a digital portal enabling secure upload and documentation of attendance excuses, enhancing compliance for maximum funding eligibility.

• Orchestrate all aspects of Information Systems strategy including policy development, team leadership, and strategic management oversight for numerous IT transformation initiatives. Utilize industry best practice principles to design and deploy major system upgrades and software implementations while monitoring and analyzing ongoing performance against KPI’s to drive continuous improvement. Apply vigorous approaches, while integrating software applications for remote learning during Covid-19 Pandemic while executing Data Security and SAML Authentication standards

Key Achievements:

• Founded a group of 64 District Schoology Campus Ambassadors to help roll out the Schoology Project on December 2020.
• Secured $170K in terms of costs by leading the project with full efficiency.
• Successfully rolled out District Student Online Registration Initiative and its primary source of NEW student registration.
• Achieved desired results by initiating Optional Flexible School Day Program for Brownsville ISD starting in the summer 2020 and collected about $800,000K in additional school funding which will be more than $3M in 2021.
• Successfully introduced the Health Services Electronic Document Management System to facilitate real time access for 120+ users.
• Implemented an SSO solution to serve 40K+ students and 7k staff reducing turnaround time from weeks to minutes following intensive end user liaison to gather requirements.
• Managed a portfolio of technical transformation projects through all phases of the end-to-end lifecycle from scoping and analysis to execution, testing, and ongoing support.
• Provided leadership and workflow oversight for the team while acting as district-wide SIS trainer.

• Azteca’s CityWorks, a Geographic Information System-based Work Management system. Developed user specified applications for the Electric, Water and Waste Water Utility Departments.
• Systems Support/ Trainer
• Provide end-user and technical support for Azteca’s CityWorks and Geographic Information System applications such as ArcGIS, and ArcFM Designer
• Worked with software development and testing team members to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance.

• Wireless Network Administration
• Monitored and maintained the University’s wireless network infrastructure based on the Enterasys RoamAbout Access Point Platform. Tasks included planning and surveying a campus building for wireless network integration, install, upgrade and configure wireless access point units.
• Networking
• Monitored and maintained network equipment for the University’s LAN.
• Tasks to achieve these responsibilities included configuring and upgrading network switches based on HP technologies. Configuring TCP/IP, and managed a DHCP Server.
• Programming
• Developed a parallel programming application for a 96-node Beowulf Supercomputer in C, using MPI. Created shell scripts to automate and maintain system operations for a 96-nodeBeowulf cluster.
