• Responsible for advanced airway management during the immediate post-op period.

• Responsible for maintaining clinical exposure through intervention, coordination of patient care, role-modeling and consulting/problem solving.
• Utilizes nursing process and ensures compliance with quality standards established by regulatory agencies, hospital standards of care, performance enhancement programs, and risk management.
• Built and sustains collegial relationships, resolves conflicts, and collaborates with others, both individually and within several teams.
• Coordinates and facilitates all educational opportunities and training for new employees within HBPC team.
• Develops systems and processes to support staff participation in Interdisciplinary work groups.

• Functioned as Specialty Clinic RN and Women's Health Navigator.
• Collaborated with Boise VA CAC and WWC Lead nurse to design and implement CPRS templates to utilize during scheduled maternity calls. These templates are used daily and have significantly helped decrease amount of time spent documenting phone calls.
• Developed Excel database to track specific items for all Maternity patients receiving care at BVAMC to ensure appropriate follow-up and education.
• Improved patient outcomes by providing high-quality nursing care and implementing evidence-based practices.

• Lead team of approximately 18 direct reports from multiple disciplines including nursing, social work, psychology, food and nutrition, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pharmacy.
