Responsible for the coordination of the collection efforts on behalf of Oxford Federal Credit Union.

Contact delinquent members in a timely manner regarding their loans, Visa, and mortgages.

Document all contact with delinquent members and any payment arrangements.

Recommend extension or modification requests to the SVP of Sales & Lending for approval.

Initiate repossessions and foreclosures after all collection efforts have been exhausted and legal requirements have been met.

Responsible for the disposal of repossessions and foreclosures.

Recommend charge-offs to SVP of Sales & Lending after all collection efforts have been unsuccessful and deficiency balances on repossessions or foreclosures.

Work with the Collection Committee with any settlement offers.

Initiate and attend Small Claims actions when necessary.

Responsible for Bankruptcy filings and all follow up actions.

Work very closely with Cuso Home Lending, collection attorneys, repossession companies, auction companies, and others in the best interest of Oxford Federal Credit Union.

Notarize documents for members when asked.

Willing to assist teammates with additional tasks including assisting Real Estate Lender with ordering appraisals, flood certificates, and title updates.

Assisted Real Estate Lender with all documents necessary to close on first and second mortgages.

Retrieved credit reports and flood zone evaluations.

Ordered appraisals and title searches.

Verified homeowners insurance and contacted insurance company to add Oxford Federal Credit Union as mortgagee.

Responsible to get all payoffs for accounts being paid by a refinanced mortgage.

Assisted teammates with additional tasks.
