Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison between multiple Integrated technical teams, operating units, project managers, and project teams.
Primary duties include as follows:
• Reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders, including internal and external customers.

• Write and edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
• Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.
• Oversee preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts.
• Conduct quality review and editing of materials.

• Directly responsible for managing day to day maintenance planning activities, personnel coordination, records management, as well as work plan template development and implementation
• Schedule and lead regular briefings with senior leadership and associated team members to assess risks or vulnerabilities and anticipate upcoming tasks or mitigate logistical impacts
• Aid in O/CONUS travel preparations, monitor staff performance, prepare detailed data reports and trend analysis
• Perform technical document changes, cost analysis, and process modifications, as well as handling a wide variety of special ad hoc tasks.

Responsible for performing tasks specified for mission control, instrumentation, and avionics systems for pre and post-flight operations on NASA’s SOFIA Aircraft (a highly-modified Boeing 747SP operating as a flying observatory for infrared astronomy. Duties included but not limited to as follows:

• Supporting and executing observatory instrument installation procedures, aircraft modifications and configuration changes, as well as coordinating removal of complex scientific instruments and calibrating their associated systems while collaborating with various international scientific teams.
• Aircraft maintenance, software upgrades, system testing, and troubleshooting, inputting and monitoring data in the maintenance tracking system to track work performed and trend analysis, and providing avionics updates during daily team briefings.
• Maintained, operated, and troubleshot both aircraft and telescope observatory's integrated systems and mission systems ensuring minimal downtime and minimizing impact to dispatch rates.
• During tenure in position held various leadership roles while working alternate shifts, supporting O/CONUS deployments, and coordinating public outreach events for local youth.
• Served as the POC for SOFIA's metrology calibration program and lead the effort for keeping our team's tools inventoried, coordinating, tracking, and transferring the tools to and from various locations and updating the database and users of any changes in their status.
• As the lead avionics technician on my aircraft I aided in interviewing, onboarding, and training new personnel, forecasted and delegated tasks, and saw all personnel to optimal productivity.

Worked as a contractor for Virgin Galactic during SS2's test flight phase. Duties included but not limited to as follows:

• Fabrication, installation, and testing of wire harnesses for various flight control measures on experimental aircraft.
• Assembling various electrical components and printed circuit boards, and performing periodic testing of components.
• Performing modifications in accordance with engineering technical orders, working with quality assurance to determine legality of function, proper integration, and ensuring that quality operation standards were attained.
• Performed various other avionics technician and mission related functions as well as routine and non-routine repairs, troubleshooting, modification integrations, and upgrading of various flight control and communication systems.
• Designed and fabricated a "Copper Bird" test bench which served as a plug-and-play avionics test bench for the experimental aircraft's data acquisition units onboard to plug in and implement system components to perform operational checkout procedures and troubleshooting.
• Performed routine repairs and troubleshooting, integrations and upgrading of various flight control and communication systems on both aircraft in build phase as well as the aircraft in test flight phase during its modification cycles according to engineering work orders and/or process specifications.

Performed corrective and preventative maintenance related tasks as well as phase maintenance on various heavy cargo, commuter, and passenger aircraft

• Troubleshot, maintained, installed, and upgraded various avionics and aircraft control systems and components in accordance with the Part 91, 121, and 135 General Maintenance Manuals specific to the company's various cargo and commuter operations certificates.
• Performed preflight and postflight procedures as well as assisted in towing, taxiing, receiving, and launching aircraft. Aided in heavy aircraft snow removal operations during inclement weather and scenarios, as well as aircraft washing, and de-icing procedures prior to launches and post receiving. Fleet experience varied from Piper PA-28's, Cessna Caravan C-208's, Air Tractor AT-802’s, C-46 Curtiss Commandos, Embraer EMB-120’s, DC-9’s, MD-80's and DC-6’s.

• Responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance related tasks as well as phase and non-routine maintenance on various heavy cargo, commuter, and passenger aircraft that were operating all over the state of Alaska.
• Installed system and component upgrades, and then performed operational checks post installation. Performed cyclic testing and periodic troubleshooting of various aircraft control systems.
• Facilitated meetings, coordinated with outside vendors and contractors for GPS software updates, AOG component purchasing, and IFR testing.
• Performed pre-flight and post-flight procedures, and assisted with aircraft snow removal, towing and taxiing, and launching and receiving aircraft in various types of inclement weather and scenarios.

• Performed weekly cyclic inventory audits and on-site crosschecks using a parts cataloging software to aid in monitoring and maintaining Bristow's global online parts tracking database.
• Established and maintained the Material Safety Data Sheet library and performed regular site audits for of all Bristow Alaska's hangar facilities and their Material Safety Data Sheet libraries and hazardous chemical inventories statewide.
• Processed parts requests and component orders, stocked both local and satellite hangar facilities with tools, parts, and necessary aircraft maintenance kits, and expedited parts for grounded aircraft as needed across the state of Alaska.
• Created and maintained rotorcraft tail number specific field kits and toolboxes for seasonal deployments and tracked their inventories.
• Performed light supervised aircraft maintenance while attending aircraft maintenance technician school at UAF to accrue hours towards attaining an Airframe and Powerplant certification.
