As a Communications Officer, I was responsible for taking non emergency and emergency calls, and dispatching out the proper agency - Police, Fire, or Ambulance. These calls could consist of dispatching out all three or transferring the call to an outside agency, such has Yellowstone County dispatch, Carbon County, Montana Highway Patrol, etc. Other job duties included taking administrative calls and handling the situation or transferring the call to the proper person(s) to handle the call. I also took care of walk in traffic at the window. I maintained warrants, protection orders, stolen gun and article records, Identity theft records and other CJIN records. I also validated these items monthly. Other job duties included radio traffic for officers running traffic and traffic from the parking officer as well. I am CJIN certified and POST certified, as well as have taken a Grant writing class and CISM training.

I answered phones and scheduled all maintenance calls and delivery orders. I maintained billing records and mapped out all maintenance calls daily. Other duties included making customer payments in person and over the phone, and answering inquiries from customers regarding their water equipment and/or water deliveries. I helped walk in traffic with purchasing of water filters and water, as well as helped load water and equipment for the customers. I helped maintain the water coolers that came in from being rented that needed to be cleaned and sent back out.
