I oversaw first grade through jr high school. This was a temporary job. I was offered it permanently but I was not able to accept it because of a chronic illness. I did not want to loose my social security and disability at that time for a full time position with Victory Christian Schools. I worked with Principal John Huffman. He was the Principal of Victory Christian School located in Carmichael California USA. His determination to find a very professional Principal for our students at Victory Christian School was extremely helpful. He gave myself many great references to the boards at that time. • I worked effectively in this fast-paced environment. I have always enjoyed working in Christian schools where students are encouraged to protect their faith in Jesus also Father God.

I was a Second Grade Teacher for Liberty Towers Christian School. I was also a Physical Education Teacher with two hundred students three days a week. I was also a substitute teacher for Jr High and Kindergarten. I also helped as a volunteer in the preschool when my children were attending Liberty Towers Christian School.
  • I managed classroom behavior effectively by establishing clear expectations. I was consistent ith my expectations of great classroom behavior as well as great behavior expected on the playgroud during physical education and recess.
  • I enhanced classroom eviornment through the use of interactive teaching methods, such as group projects and hands-on activities. My teaching style was very pleasing to both parents as well as my students.
  • I was a part of a curriculum group that included educators from our school. We researched many different curriculums including but not limited to Becca and ACSI.
  • I attended ACSI conferences at Trinity Church as well as in down town Sacramento. My teaching skills were enhanced through my ACSI certification. The certificate was a great accomplishment that complimented my education at California University of Sacramento where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education all the through Jr College Education.
  • I created accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior for report cards and parent conferences.
  • I created fun educational lesson plans. I enjoyed having my son in my second grade class. One of the nicest benefits of working as a teacher at LIberty Towers Christian School was receiving free tuition for my son and daughter. They received a great education there. We made a lot of great friends. I had to transfer them to Adventure Christian School and Victory Christian School when we moved from the Sacramento area to Orangevale California USA. • I attended and participated in school retreats with our leader Principal Bruce Coleburn.

I became a Principal of Adventure Christian Schools after I worked for Principal Bruce Colburn at Liberty Towers Christian School because of his confidence in my ability.
  • I believe my employment at Liberty Towers Christian School was used in the form of a grant or trustfund in order to build a beautiful new School Gym. The church was very happy also to be able to use it. The school closed soon afterwards though because of a low number of students. The area was a poorer area of Sacramento. Many families wanted to send their children to Liberty Towers Christian School but could not afford it.
  • I was also a substitute for Jr High while I was employed at Liberty Towers Christian School. My Principal Bruce Colburn was so happy when I was a team player and accepted the substitute job from kindergarten through jr high. He made the transition from young students to older jr high students much easier.

Preschool Director

Powerhouse Ministries
06.1996 - 02.1997
  • I closely worked with the California Board of Education for one year to open a Powerhouse Ministries in Folsom California.
  • I created handbooks and much more that was required by the State of California in order to open a Preschool. A Preschool Director has to have a degree in Earlyhood Education in order to be a Preschool Director in our United State of California.
  • I maintained compliance with state licensing regulations through diligent record keeping and routine inspections preparation.
  • Collaborated with staff to create an inclusive environment, accommodating diverse learning needs. Powerhouse Ministries helps families who are experiencing poverty. They help students with learning disabilites and much more. I didn't get to work there very long because the Director of the Powerhouse Church thought it was necessary to have a low income client run the Preschool as a director. So the woman she wanted to be the director finished her degree while I spent one year opening the Preschool. She then took over and I went directly to Liberty Towers Christian School as a Physical Education Teacher for grades kindergarten through jr high.
  • My husband Joe St Angelo helped with budgeting as well as taxes for the Powerhouse Ministries I opened. My supervisors both Nancy and Larry Levine were very helpful and encouraging. Their faith in God was very helpful. They have helped a lot of people with clothing, food,, job training and much more. I helped with Powerhouse Ministries Food Bank. I think I could have helped them more with grant writing but the government encouraged my self to leave and start teaching instead. I know I have helped every employer I have ever worked for with grants.
  • I established a lot of school policies that should have been implemented. The new Director didn't understand these policies were very important. She thought she had to redo everything so it took a long time to make the Preschool successful for her preferred cliental. Powerhouse Ministries helps families of prisoners. The children that attended Powerhouse Ministries were low income in need students who received free tuition for the most part. I belived Preschool for all children is extremely helpful at the beginning of their education.
  • References for this job include one of my best friends at that time who referred myself to Powerhouse Ministries Reina Belford. She was a partner at one time and worked for Power House Ministries many years. She also volunteered a great deal for them. She was also one of my supervisors at State Farm Insurance when we worked for Bill Bernard together. Please see my reference section.
  • I also worked with Mercy to help open Powerhouse Ministries. I know they have been tremendously helpful to many people in their area.

Job Placement Specialist

Western Temporary Services
01.1986 - 02.1988
  • My position as Job Placement Specialist included duties such as interviewing new employees, maintaining great relationship with valued employees who worked for our Westrern Temporary Services regularly.
  • I also sold Western Temporary Services to many businesses in our area of Sacramento. I mainly placed clerical workers in these jobs that helped their families. Many of these people needed to work temporary part time positions due to illness and or because of parental responsibilities. I also helped place many retired individuals.
  • We tried to train many of our employees so they would be successful in their positions.
  • I legally documented performance for many positions promptly. I mediated conflicts between employees and employers when necessary. I also had to fire people from their positions if my client didn't want them to return. That was a very difficult part of my job. It was easier when I had another job to offer them. I completed this human resource job responsibility at Manpower Temporary Services where I went to work right after Western Temporary Services.

Religion

I as raised in Northern California. My parents were both Catholic at the time so were my grandparents. I also was Catholic so was both my sister also my brother. I made my First Communion in the Bay Area located in California in a city I grew up in named Freemont. I received my confirmation when I was in eighth grade. I loved my Catakism teachers especially a really sweet friend of ours named Eddie. I hope she can give me a religious personal reference if needed. My family was transferred to Mexico when I was in eighth grade. I was able to move  in with my grandparents  who helped raise  me in Fair Oaks California. I went to mass every weekend with them at St Mels in Fair Oaks California.

At age 17 I began attending a church named Warehouse Christian Ministries with Pastor Louis Neely as my Pastor. I loved it right away of the Christian Rock  Concerts we were able to go to for free! My friends and I loved going there and never stopped. I attended Warehouse Christian Ministries with friends and then my husband also my son for about seventeen years. I was allowed to stop going to mass at age 18. I will always be  thankful for my upbringing as a Catholic. However,  I'm very happy I was able to choose a non denominational church at a young age. I married my husband Joe St Angelo at Capitol Christian Center in Sacramento with our Pastor Louis Neely in 1989.  We are still married  today but separated because of personal reasons and political problems in our country. My children and I as well as Joe attended Adventure Christian Church for many years as well as their sister church named NewSong located at Folsom High School when we attended.  We also enjoy Bayside Christian Covenant Church located in Granite Bay California. We have many friends there. We love our Pastor Louis Neely Ray Johnson combined employment as our Pastors. We have also been very thankful for Don Brewster of Adventure Christian Church and School. He has been my Pastor and my families Pastor for many years also. He was one of my favorite Supervisors at Adventure Christian School when I was the Principal there. Our Pastor's personal contribution in our lives are countless. We are very happy to be Christians living in a place where we have freedom.
