  • assists customers and delivers premier customer service
  • resolves customer issues or escalates them to management if necessary, cashes customer checks
  • sells stamps, process money services( money orders, money transfers through western union)
  • operates a register and calculator as needed
  • answers and directs telephone calls
  • performs daily bookkeeping procedures such as balancing and reconciling cash drawers
  • maintains office accountability
  • prepares deposits(cash, checks, food stamps, and other forms of tenders)
  • has direct custody of the safe under the direction of a customer service manager
  • maintains security of the cash office
  • operates all cash office equipment
  • closes the cash office
  • coordinates the front-end in the absence of the customer service team leader or manager and assists in other duties as assigned.
