There is a significant benefit to combining professional job experience with sorority membership experience and community groups. Being involved in a sorority fosters leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills, all of which are very applicable in the legal industry. Members of sororities frequently arrange events, plan charitable endeavors, and engage in community outreach. These activities call for excellent organizational abilities and a commitment to service, traits that are critical for achievement. Furthermore, interacting with people from different backgrounds and handling sensitive and empathic legal situations involve the development of interpersonal and dispute-resolution skills, which are enhanced by navigating the dynamics of a sorority, groups, and the workplace. Furthermore, having worked in the legal field or not gives people professionalism, time management, and critical thinking abilities, all of which are vital.

• I am in a sorority called Gamma Phi Beta, I have been in that organization for 3 years now. So far, I have been able to increase membership enrollment and participation at organization events. I have helped increase the chapter budget and create alternative options to assist members with dues. Also, being able tp communicate with the group of girls.
• I also am in a Pre-Law society club and I have been in it for about 3 years now as well. This club was fairly new and is still trying to grow. But we are able to work together and with other organizations to do Zooms for preparing for law school. Provide opportunities to interact with practicing lawyers and other legal experts.
