Had a history of volunteering at my local Willows Wetland Preserve back in high school, which is where i got most of my volunteer hours. I have held important positions, such as Vice President of Cal Poly Pomona's geology club from Fall 2021 to Spring 2024.
I have geological field experience. I have previously done geologic mapping, stratigraphic columns. I know how to use tools such as the Brunton Compass and the Jacob Staff. I am familiarized with Geophysical tools and methods, which include Seismic surveying, Ground Penetrating Radar, and Electrical Resistivity.
I am proficient in GIS, I can digitize geologic maps and work with drone data to create land models using Pix4D.
I am currently doing research in the change of elevation of the new mud pots in the Southeast Salton Sea
Usually weeding and cleaning, at least once a month.
