  • Realized one of the greatest savings in a decade, a total of $6mm, during two annual juice processing seasons by carefully monitoring extraction processes
  • Developed five years of Maintenance Planning which consisted of planning and scheduling all the maintenance and PM's (preventative maintenance) for all 5 production lines in juice extraction as well as the 3 Feed Mill lines
  • Facilitated all the meetings with production managers to ensure proper scheduling for shutting down lines for PM's and or rebuilds to avoid any further delay in meeting production criteria and coordinated the schedules for outside contractors for summer rebuild, tear down of equipment, and start up
  • Duties ranged from scheduling maintenance crews for PM and summer rebuild, ordering pumps, Baldor motors, sprockets, gear boxes, conveyor belting, extraction machines, and centrifuge machinery, to overseeing completion of work
  • All five years of maintenance planning along with production management were compliant with company budgeting guidelines, consistently 10% below my planned budget numbers
  • One of the best in the company, my team saved an overall $300,000 a year just by maintaining good PM behavior, well planned and coordinated maintenance with all production staff, and by following all safety guidelines
  • Controlled a $15-million, inventory of more than 50-thousand-line items and oversaw store operations, reorders, purchasing, auditing, cycle counts, and receiving
  • Saved more than $2million by implementing JIT practices to deplete excess and obsolete inventory in the company's ten stockrooms and assisted in a vendor consolidation effort to reduce the number of suppliers from more than 30 down to 3
