My music and work as an educator are reflective of my upbringing in San Antonio, and my family’s roots in Coahuila, Mexico. I draw from personal experiences, family stories, and social issues to bring meaning and purpose to my songs. I try not to limit myself by genres and prefer to always expand on my musical and cultural knowledge of the world. Simple music that is genuine, thoughtful, and meaningful is important to me. My songs are sometimes quiet and sometimes loud, but always honest.
