- Gained both clinical and research experience under the mentorship of Dr. Nelson G. Rosen, MD by shadowing in both clinical appointments and surgical procedures, such as Gips and Ileocecal Resections, all relating to pediatric colorectal care.
- Reviewed outcomes of patients who underwent Gips procedure(s) for pilonidal disease at CCHMC in 2021 to find the percentage of patients who had no prior Gips procedures, came to CCHMC to get one for their pilo, and healed thereafter without any recurrence of the disease during the follow-up period.
