As former a volunteer at Jackson North Medical Center, my tasks were to file documents, refill supplies, disinfect beds, and answer telephone calls. I played a small but also helpful role when it came to the patient's necessities. While being a solid individual in terms of the rules of etiquette, displaying a positive attitude when communicating with patients, let them know outstanding service will be provided. Helping one have a positive experience within the facility was crucial, because it presented the nature of the company in an exceptional manner. I displayed a positive attitude when communicating with patients that let them know that I can complete the task at hand. Judging from all of this, the same can most definitely be done for this establishment.
As a former stocker at Family Dollar, my duties and responsibilities were to supply the shelves with merchandise in the proper place, rearrange items, assist customers with finding items, cleaning areas of the establishment, and doing all of this in a timely manner.
As a test proctor, I have the obligation of administering exams. Much attention to detail is required to ensure that the exam what set up properly for the candidate. Vigilance and monitoring examinees during their test is also a priority to confirm no cheating and answering certain questions. Using a desktop computer is required. I am to log into the specific website that exam takes place on in order to administer it. When assigned to be at the front desk, I call the numbers that people have gotten at a kiosk machine in order to assist them in the order in which they came. Attached to that number is their name that I would search for in our system to see if their information is correct, then proceed to give them the proper forms to fill out. When they are finished filling out the form, they return it to me. I then input their information into what is called the g-drive. This is our database that keeps record of examinee's testing history. I add their name, ID number, exam title, whether or not it is a retake, and my initials to show that I am the one who checked them in at the front desk. While not at the front desk, it is my duty to take the forms the candidate filled out set up the exam and call the individual. When calling them, I ask for one or two IDs (depending on what the exam requires) that are unexpired and match. I also ask them to show me all their electronic devices are turned off completely. They then follow me to place all of their items in a locker. After making sure they have completely emptied out all of their pockets, they are asked to stand with their limbs spread out for me to scan their front and back side with a metal detector wand. Afterward, I explain the subjects the test gives, the time limit, the materials they receive (if applicable) where the restroom are, and to raise their hands if they have any questions or concerns. After they are seated, the form they filled out is placed in a file cabinet according to last name. If any disruptions happen with their exam, I go through the cabinet to find their form, go inside the testing room and set up their exam again. When there is not too much activity, the same forms the test takers filled out, I scan them using a machine to my email and upload that file to the student's account if necessary.
