  • Provide compassionate care in a surgical stepdown unit for postoperative patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgeries such as heart/lung transplants, Mechanical Circulatory Devices, CABGS, and valve repair/replacements.
  • Able to establish rapport with patients and family to help facilitate proper and ethical care.
  • Able to assess patients’ health care needs and any issues and relay pertinent information such as abnormal lab values or a change in condition, to the medical provider in order to aide in the improvement of the patients’ health and well being.

  • Certified N95 Fit Tester. Able to properly fit and test staff with N95 respirators, ensuring they provide adequate protection.
