I prepare required samples for testing by measuring them to the proper weight and filling with media and incubating, or filling with media and plating and incubating. I disinfect, restock, and clean the sample preparation portion of the laboratory.

I test incubated samples for pathogens such as Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli, and Staphylococcus, via protein presence, DNA PCR programs, and growth on pathogen-specific agars and petri films. I Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on machinery and tools within the lab.

I admit people to the Garden, sell goods from the gift shop, sell tickets for concerts and events, answer guest questions over the phone, and make sure the visitor’s center is clean and functioning.

I clean the facility daily, including the restrooms, education center, offices, lobby, event space, and the garden itself. I also set up spaces with the custodial team for events and meetings on the garden grounds as needed.

I recycle used clay, mix ingredients for colored slips and the ingredients for glazes, and clean the facility.

I served gelato in hand-made cones and in waxed cups, baked cookies for sandwiches and to be sold on their own, and cleaned the facility at the end of each shift.

I assisted in putting together bouquets which includes; placing the flowers for bridal bouquets, wrapping with ribbon, and pinning for every bouquet for the bridal party. This also included making corsages and boutonnieres for other events, but the main focus was assisting in wedding preparations.

I ran registers. whether that meant admitting people to the Resch Aquatic Center in Green Bay or selling and serving concessions, as well as concessions preparation. I also helped to run the slides, ensuring while working with the attending lifeguard that people were able to safely have fun at the pool.
