Junehyuk Ye

Worked at OpenQQuantify under the leadership of CEO Paul Savluc. From day one, I contributed to key projects such as completing the OK board, developing a cryptocurrency insights website, and implementing important UI updates. Beyond technical development, I also contributed as a writer to the OpenQQuantify Book on Quantum and Engineering Society, showcasing versatility, creativity, and dedication to knowledge sharing. This experience strengthened my skills in problem-solving, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and innovation in emerging technologies like AI, robotics, and digital twins.

• Participated in a two semester-long team project sponsored by the CEO of ImmiCan.ai, working with fellow ASU students to build a web application designed to support immigrants moving to Canada.
• Had responsibilities of both frontend and backend development tasks, creating user friendly interfaces, integrating APIs, and building secure database connections.
• Applied skills in React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Flask, and PostgreSQL to deliver a responsive and functional product that met the sponsor’s requirements.
• Practiced agile teamwork, version control (Git/GitHub), and real-world problem-solving under tight academic deadlines.
• Also learned to handle challenges in communication between team members and the sponsor, improving my coordination, accountability, and professional growth throughout the project.

• Gained proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, using formulas and filters to track invoices, appointments, and reports.
• Strengthened file management and task prioritization using Google Drive, Docs, and task lists to keep daily operations organized.
• Improved verbal and written communication skills by handling client calls, writing emails, and coordinating schedules.
• Practiced basic IT troubleshooting, such as resolving printer errors, internet issues, and software setup.
• Learned the workflow of a small business, including client management, record keeping, and admin operations.

• Maintained and operated military communication equipment, including field radios, antennas, and tactical networking systems.
• Assisted in setting up and troubleshooting secure communication networks during field operations.
• Gained hands-on experience with signal flow, radio frequency (RF) systems, and basic network configuration under high-pressure environments.
• Supported mission-critical communication during training exercises, ensuring uninterrupted data and voice transmission across units.
• Collaborated with team members to deploy and manage mobile communication infrastructure in field conditions.
