• Research: Minersville School District v. Gobitis, 2019 - Independently researched a landmark 1940 Supreme Court case to analyze its historical, social, and legal significance. Applied sociological imagination to examine how the Great Depression, WWII, and U.S. religious pluralism shaped the ruling and its eventual reversal in West Virginia v. Barnette. Highlighted the case’s lasting impact on religious freedom and civil liberties in America.

• Research: A Cross-Cultural Analysis on Puberty Rituals, 2020 - Independently developed and researched global coming-of-age rituals for young women. Analyzed cultural attitudes toward menstruation and fertility across societies (U.S., India, Ghana, Native American communities) to highlight differences in how womanhood is honored. Accompanying presentation was selected for display in an online academic exhibit.

• Capstone Project: How Racism Creates Health Disparities, 2020 - Originated and led an independent research project examining systemic racism as the root cause of health disparities in African Americans.
