• ICAR Gold collision certifications, PPG paint, DuPont paint, Nason auto paint certifications, 3m products training

• Full disassembly of a vehicle to restore and put back together 100%
• Remove damaged panels / components for repair / replacement and reinstall and realign body panels
• Remove dents/damage using appropriate tools
• Straighten,pull,bend,and/or grind various body panels and sheet metal as necessary
• Fill dents with plastic fillers, file, grind and sand repaired surface to be ready for primer
• Ability to weld, repair, grind metal. Prep to be ready for paint, free of defects.
• Apply primer and finish coats using spray guns, wipe down surfaces between coats
• Wet sand and block out all imperfections in primer an clean surfaces to be ready for paint
• Mix paints and solutions and monitoring for temperatures
• Clean, sanded, and smoothed all surfaces prior to painting
• Economical with paint supplies and materials
• Completed and filed daily work slips to document progress
• Collaborate with other team members to meet strict project completion deadlines
• Collaborate closely with designers and clients on painting projects (make dreams a reality)
• Expert color matching, tinting, spot repair, blending and overall refinishing of old and new cars
• Expert color sanding, polishing and buffing paint corrections
• Paint and assemble cars, parts and disposing of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner
• Selecting paint and materials according to customers requirements (budget)
• Use air powered grinders, hand tools, sanders, spray guns, power tools, and any tools needed to complete the job
• Wet sand and block out all imperfections in primer and clean surfaces to be ready for paint
• Excellent masking and taping skills
