I have always tried to choose jobs that are different, and that would possibly teach me something new. I value learning and having strong abilities to make it far in life, and being able to teach others. Which is one of the reasons I want to learn HVAC. I've been going with my brother on a few jobs just learning basics about ac units and air vents.
I saw it as useful and fun to learn, valuable for me to experience and teach others.
