Started with this company in 2016 as a Parts Assistant. In 2017, I was promoted to Parts Manager. I over saw the daily ordering and selling of parts to in house jobs, walk in customers, and over the phone buyers. In 2019, I was promoted to Service Manager. My daily tasks include scheduling repair jobs with customers, and scheduling the technician's daily tasks. I handle all the billing of jobs, and creating estimates for repairs. I oversee profit and loss of the service department, as well as, the daily communication with customers and my technicians. I currently manage a staff of 15 employees. This company is different than your average boat dealership. We deal with a high end clientele, with boats ranging from $100k-$2mil in price. Under my service management, the service department has averaged around 5 million a year in revenue.
Worked in the oil fields on cement crew pumping cement down holes to cement oil piping in place. This was a round the clock, labor intensive job. I was laid off from this company when the oil fields crashed in early 2016.
I joined the Missouri Army National Guard my senior year of High School. After graduation and Army training, I took a position in recruiting in my hometown of Camdenton, MO. I worked traveling around the region meeting with adults sharing the options and benefits of joining the Missouri National Guard. The military was a huge stepping stone into the work ethic and experiences I have in my life today.
