While working at South Shores my duties include: While working at Ocean Hills my duties included: Observation of patients administering medication, counting medications, logging and safe storage of medications. Hand written 15 and 30 minute rounds daily. Cooking and cleaning. Transporting clients to 12 step meetings, outings, clinical groups, stores, airport pick ups/drops offs and doctors appointments. AMA blocking and deescalation. Providing emotional support and redirecting patients while maintaining strong boundaries. Constant communication with management and fellow staff. Taking vitals and assessing for COWS and CIWAS. Intake process for new admits with detailed searches. Collecting, labeling and documenting UA samples for transport to laboratories and breathalyzing patients daily. Strict organization of clients forms of payments including cash, phones and cards. Documenting amounts brought in and what is spent including collection of receipts and safe storage. Discharging clients with signatures from the system with medications and personal belongings.
