Completed 12 weeks of training. I was proficient in cannulation of permanent accesses AVF and AVG. Job duties included setting up dialysis machines, running test of then, reading a physicians order and inputting the information into the machine, stringing the machine and ensuring that it was primed and ready for a patient treatment. Greeting patients in the lobby, assisting them to the treatment floor to be weighed and then obtaining vital signs and also inputting them into the machine. Observing all infection control practices per policy and procedure. Cannulation of AVG/AVF with 14-17 gauge needles. Starting patient treatment and monitoring their vital sign every 20 minutes. Reporting any abnormal vital signs and findings to the RN. Documentation of safety checks and vital signs accurately. At the end of treatment inputting information into the machine. Ensuring hemostasis of access after decannulation. Weighing patient out and getting ready for the next treatment.
I operated a skid steer, crane and monitored and weighed trucks bringing in and taking out loads. Filled out reports for needed maintenance on equipment and machines.

The business owner had, cattle, rental properties and a restaurant. I worked fro him 6-7 days a week. I worked in all aspects of the business. Including going to other small businesses and promoting specials at the restaurant. I operated heavy machinery, moved cattle to other fields , demolition in vacated rental properties, bused tables, cooked, washed dishes.
