I worked for Davey resource group in the North bay division for just over 5 years. I did 2 years of routine distribution/transmission inspection using the VMPI 2 program/Onevm. I have collector/Field maps experience from working on the EVM program. I have done VDAD/TRI as well as LIDAR inspection through collector/field maps. I've audited as well as trained many VMI on routine. Through out my years at Davey I did other small projects like post fire inspection, PSPS inspection, mid cycle patrols, Case tickets and outage investigations. For a year and a half I did work planning/coordinating for the Federal land vegetation management projects in Marin for PGE. That position entailed coordinating with the tree crew contractor's, Bio coordinator's, PGE land planner's and Park's to ensure our vegetation work was done to the parks liking and all hazards were eliminated from PGE's facilities. I spent most of my time in the field with the tree crews and being in the field with them showed me what our work as VMI/planners translates to once it is in their hands. That experience has made me understand more of what I have to do as an inspector/planner to setup the tree crews for success. I am currently waiting for my TRAQ results and expect to get them soon. I did CEMA on Onevm most recently.
