Ordering-
Material must be ordered and stored to prevent backorders when the home is ready to begin construction; this includes fittings to small detailed pieces all throughout the trim out stage.
Receiving-
Stage the material coming in on selected days of the week. Phantom (an automated ordering system) would order materials according to a set weekly minimum, order finalized to replenish stock.
Check in material and locate it in designated areas of the storing facility, followed by receiving the inventory into the computer system.
Shipping-
Putting orders together due to a forecast of what's going out for the month for specific builders.
Fixture Trim Out, Top Out and Rough In.
Each stage has its necessity and budget per home.
Material would be packaged for subs or the employees to pick up on the opposing side of our customer's facility.
Billing/Invoicing-
Orders would be manually entered into a picking ticket with P.O and job address and a matching material list from customers P.O,
any discrepancies such as pricing would be evaluated and fastened at this end stage of the job.
Once it was double checked and confirmed I would bill and Invoice the customer.
