As a person that has many years of experience in multiple levels of the maintenance industry, and almost as many years in management, I feel I have developed more than enough experience to jump into this role of Building Operations and Maintenance Manager. I am currently comfortable in the current role of Facilities Director at The Edge, and to be honest I wasn't looking to move to another job. This job posting was sent to me to see if it was something that I would be interested in. After many days of thinking about it and reading the posting over and over, I decided to apply. I have always loved inserting myself in positions where I can grow professionally and personally. The complexity of the skillset you are looking for is what drew me to the position.
I take pride in telling you that over my entire working career I have developed the drive and work-ethic that seems to be lacking in the current work force. Being 41 years young, I can comfortably say that I have developed the knowledge, understanding, resources, and patience to be successful in this role. I am also willing to tackle any aspect of the job where I have less developed skills, and put the extra work towards learning them.
In the current age where good skilled help is getting harder and harder to come by, I would like you to please consider my application as a serious candidate. I look forward to hearing from you.
