Accomplishments
- Helped successfully evacuate and transport over 120 animals from Thousand Oaks to Camarillo during the Woolsey fire in my second week of working there. About 60 or so dogs were under my care and I was able to remember their names and dog aggression levels to properly and safely transport and place them in the temporary facility while only working with one other boarding technician in my department.
- Quickly became the most trusted handler for large and aggressive dogs and was promoted to shift lead.
- After change in management I was the person other techs came to to ask for handling help and instructions.
