Received top gun in my squadron by conversing with my section openly for ideas to make our gun the most effective artillery piece on our base.
I was my unit's weapons armorer and used the time given to make my unit's arms room up to code with the base regulations and receive an accommodation from my Sergeant Major.
When appointed Gunner on my M777A2 Howitzer I taught the members in my section in diverse ways to help them learn the fastest they could. This made me adapt to my communication and teaching ability.
I have earned awards for my service and work by placing others above myself. I never ordered others to do anything unsafe or something I would not do myself. This earned me the respect of not only my team but my leadership.
I am enrolled in Sonoran Desert institute in Arizona. It is a fully online school that I attend full time. After graduation I will be reserving an associate in firearm technology. My love for gunsmithing came at an early age when I first started shooting. I had a love for the sport and was interested in the mechanics of firearms this led me to joining the military and being appointed to the arms room by my first Sergent. He chose me because I read the weapons manuals for all our firearms and learned how to break them down, clean them properly and put them back together instead of waiting around watching the other armorer break weapons down.
