  • At Portland Gold Club I was tasked with operating the Bag Room, and making sure the Range, Chipping Green, and others were stocked and running smoothly
  • In the Bagroom we set members' bags out that were playing and load them up on whatever they preferred without them having to ask
  • When members came in we would unload their clubs and clean them and make sure the carts were cleaned as well
  • Working here taught me how to change my work style to fulfill each customer's needs.

Caddie, Portland Golf Club

  • As a caddie, I would offer 1:1 support and advice to golfers at to improve the golfer's scores
  • This includes carrying their bag and any other belongings
  • I would inform them where the pin was and the distance to the pin
  • After every shot, I would clean the club and fix the course if needed
  • This improves the member experience and pace of play.

  • As for the front of house, I ran food to customers, served any needs that were not met, and cleaned dirty tables
  • I was also tasked with training new employees when hired, taking them throughout the training guide, and assessing their knowledge to ensure we had the best workers.
