His background includes key leadership roles such as Superintendent, SSHO, and Quality Control Manager on design-build and traditional delivery projects. Mr. Hewitt brings specialized expertise in structural systems, roofing, concrete, and steel erection, and has led successful project execution for federal agencies including the U.S. Air Force, NAVFAC, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under SABER, 8(a) sole source, and competitive bid contracts. Mr. Hewitt has a proven track record of managing complex construction activities in mission-critical and phased environments. His extensive field knowledge enables him to enforce EM 385-1-1 safety standards, direct multi-trade crews, and maintain compliance with stringent federal specifications. On recent projects at Eglin AFB and NAS Jacksonville, Mr. Hewitt provided full-spectrum oversight of safety, quality, and production for facility modifications, including warehouse upgrades, test site construction, and roof truss structural repairs on historic properties—experience directly relevant to the scope at Fort Bliss.
