JUSTIN HIATT

I’m known as Sergeant Hiatt, I am a Sergeant of Marines currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. Back in 2013 is when I first enlisted with the Marine Corps out of Denton, Texas. My bootcamp was located in San Diego, CA aboard the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD). After bootcamp shifting to Marine Combat Training (MCT) in Camp Pendleton, CA after which I officially went to my first job school in Meridian, MS as a 6672 Aviation Supply specialist. There I would go through training taking on tasks, warning on job experience, and certifications in;

-Logistic Chain Management (LCM)
-Expedited Pack Up Knowledge (EPUK)
-Personnel management
-Inventory Control
-Warehouse Management

With these skills I went to my duty station in Beaufort, SC aboard Marine Air Logistics Squadron 31 (MALS-31).
I served aboard MALS-31 from 2013-2018 having served aboard to Iwakuni-shi, Japan from 2014-2015. After serving as an Aviation Supply Specialist for 5 years I ended up transferring job fields to the ground side as an 0341 Infantry Mortar man. Once transferred I was sent to the Infantry Training Battalion (ITB) aboard Camp Geiger, NC soon after getting stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC under the unit 2nd Battalion 8th Marines (V2/8). The training I received under the infantry is as follows;

-Patrolling
-Weapons management
-weapons systems instructor
-range instructor
-martial arts instructor
-EMS/EMT/CPR services
-ammunition handling
-security
-field craft

Many other skills were entailed with the infantry, I served with V2/8 from 2018-2022 until finally being called to the recruiting field where I now serve as a Dallas Recruiter in the DFW area. If you have any questions please reach out!
