
I am excited to continue learning and advancing my career as an Energy Transfer employee. The experience i have gained in the last five and a half years as an mechanic and pipeline technician will aid in a smooth transition to the supervisor role.
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate pump station equipment, and pipeline facilities including pumps, and auxiliary equipment in order to meet production and product throughput requirements in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership’s procedures and regulatory requirements.
I have covered for multiple supervisors while out on maternity leave, or vacation.
This included taking all supervisor calls, meetings, projects, reporting and documentation of events while the supervisor was on leave.
I have been appointed to take the lead role in many projects on our systems.
I have supervised crews for months at a time as the only ET rep out on location installing launchers ,receivers, and piggable fittings on a gathering system. This work included Daily Job plans, JSA, LOTO, Drain up, Cold Cuts, Electrofusion, and Line fill. I have been involved in many repairs and tie-ins on our systems. This has included, in service welding, and Hot Tapping, Drain up, Cold Cutting on steel and poly lines, Welding or electrofusion, Energy Isolation as well as vapor isolation and venting. My role in many of these task was to create a job plan in accordance with all of our sop's. Supervise crews, and ET employees execute job plan in a safe and efficient manner.
I have been through railroad commission audits on five line segments. I have recovered and presented all reports and documentation to auditors, as well as demonstrated our procedures in the field.
I have supervised tank drain up and tank refills for API 653 inspections. This included communicating with scheduling to fill tank to HIHI position. Pinning Legs in the high roof position. Pumping tank down while monitoring flow rates to safely land roof. Pump tank to low low level. Utilizing supplementary pumps to transfer oil and get tank degassing within 24hrs. Planning shift change, and smooth transitions between day and night crews.
I have commissioned many new pumping stations, Dra and pipelines.
This includes working with measurement for proper tracking of barrel counts during line fill and station start up, Contractors that built the system, Visual inspection prior to start up. Working with SCADA to push screens and point to point. Verifying all safety shut downs and programming is operating as designed in the functional spec. I have experience problem solving associated with starting up new stations. Added line pressure, added volume and turbulent flow.
These new conditions can cause older sites issues, Adjusting back pressure valves, flow control valves, as well as DRA injections to effiecntly operate our system.
Create and complete documentation as well as complete inspections for the following.
Pig runs, Fire extinguishers, Tank inspections, Block valve inspections, and 4 gas monitors.
Report near misses and good catches in IMS. Track all work and call outs in SAP.
Monitor all line crossings. This included marking lines. Monitoring excavations, Pulling of pipe, and back fill.
Competing station checks. Visually inspecting stations for AOC's. Belts for wear, rising sump levels, cleaning of plunger boxes and seal fail systems. Visual inspections of welds and flanged connections. Maintaining good housekeeping.
Monthly pig runs. Working oil, and witnessing provings. Writing tickets in Synthesis.
Collecting Meter totals, T/A counts and avg. Temps. Working Tanks. Running sulfurs and RVP's. Monitoring over and shorts.
Working with control center to respond to call outs and repair issues on locations.
Supervising contractors while sand blasting, painting, Installing new equipment, hot tapping, cutting and welding. Verifying contactor's have proper PPE, Documentation, and OQ's for tasks to be completed. Receiving and verifying all required tools and materials are on location prior to job start up. Utilizing sump ands vac trucks for drain up and line fill activities.

skills include being proficient in drivability, heavy line, and light line engine work. Experienced in electrical diagnostics, steering and suspension, brakes, differentials, precise measurements, and basic hydraulics.
Jobs included climbing frac tanks, as well as power washing inside and outside of the tanks. Sand blasting frac tanks and trailers. Metal repair if the tank was rotted out or leaking. Clearing of land, and operating skid steers. Leveling land, and roads with skid steers. Welding and cutting metal when needed.
