Attending turnover meetings with the estimator and project manager to understand the scope of work.

Review the specification, architectural and structural design drawings for potential issues and provide suggestions to solve them through the proper channels.

Scheduling activities.

Create 3D models in Tekla Structures

Ensuring the integrity of the 3D models

Advanced BOMs, creating custom title blocks, BOMS and reports.

Detailing and checking erection plan, assembly, part, and weld map drawings.

Managing change orders and tracking cost.

Creating approval packages and releasing fabrication/erection packages which

includes fabrication/erection plan drawings, BIM models, KISS, CNC or NC files.

Managing the drawing submittal logs.

• Reference blueprints, detail structural and miscellaneous on projects up to 1000 tons
• Utilize AISC manual, AWS, IBC and OHSA
• Creating RFI's, maintain RFI's, change orders and drawing submittal logs
• Attending project meetings
• Work with customers, architects and engineers to ensure quality product and to keep projects on track to meet delivery schedules.

• Reference blueprints, detail structural and miscellaneous on projects up to 1000 tons
• Utilize AISC manual to design connections based on loads provided by EOR
• Estimate detailing hours, create custom title blocks and BOMS, set up job files, write RFI's, maintain RFI's, change orders and drawing submittal logs
• Attending project meetings
• Work with customers, architects and engineers to ensure quality product and to keep projects on track to meet delivery schedules.
