I am currently out working in Northern VA working in a data center on the control side. Primarily focusing on conduit installation and wire pulling, and terminations. (CAT6 and fiber)

I moved around a lot more with this company. First, worked at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington. Mainly installing PVC conduit and following blueprints to layout trenches for ductbank. Spent a few months at the Reagan Building in DC, primarily focusing on control wire and conduit installation. Spent a decent portion of my time with this company at Quantico Marine Corps base in Quantico. Worked a lot on the lighting control system pulling wire, installing devices, control terminations. Spent the last several months at Capital One Arena helping with the summertime renovations. Primarily focused on pulling MC cable for lighting, material handling, conduit installation. Spent some time doing fire alarm testing as well.

Two months spent at Fort Myer in Arlington. Primarily focused on renovating one of the barracks buildings (conduit installations and helping with electrical shutdowns). Two months spent at Joint Base Andrews in Suitland building a naval communications center (data center) very early on in the project a lot of running PVC, trench digging, initial grounding for the building. Spent the final 10 months with this company renovating one of the wings of the USDA building in Washington DC. At this job I worked a lot with demoing out the old electrical system which consisted of troubleshooting circuits, tracing wires, raceway removal. Work eventually moved to wire pulling and conduit/cable tray install.

I worked in the Prefabrication Shop for the first four months of my time with the company. Proficient in material handling (tools, hardware, electrical material), electrical wiring for lights, Lutron boxes, receptacles, and trapeze building. QA/QC inspecting products and packaging up for delivery.

Spent the next few months doing service work in live data centers in Northern VA. Troubleshooting electrical circuits, retrofitting florescent lighting to LEDs, pulling wire, ATS installation.

Spent the rest of my time with the company out in the construction field building data centers throughout Northern VA. Primarily focused on trapeze installation, ER wire pulling, terminating switchgear, control wire terminations.
