CNC Team lead overseeing and assisting CNC Setup Specialist, CNC Operators, and assembly workers. My position as a Team Leader, is responsible for making sure all employees are following all safety guidelines , wearing proper

PPE , and utilizing scheduled break times. I am also responsible for ensuring all employees have proper materials, and tools to safely and properly do their jobs. I am also responsible for ensuring time management is a goal for all of my team and that deadlines are met. As production goals are set and met, employees are empowered and feel appreciated as a team.

While being employed in the CNC Setup Specialist position, I was responsible for setting up and performing changeovers on various CNC machines , assisting and training CNC operators and working with engineering on developing new part setups and implementing their production. I also worked with tooling sales representatives as they tested new tooling. I was also responsible for tweaking and altering programs to run more efficiently and productive. My duties also included, being responsible for conducting first and last piece quality checks for the CNC operators.

In this position I furthered my knowledge in the understanding of CNC programs and manually machining work holding jaws for mills and manually turning , drilling , and boring in lathes.

I was also responsible for reading and understanding blueprints and quality inspections of the parts being machined. I increased my knowledge in many different machining applications and many different styles of cutting tools. I also was responsible for my own tooling changes and adjusting tool offsets.
