As a Shortage District manager for 9 stores I own Inventory Management and Shortage Percent to Sales, safety and security, and team development. In order to execute these my core role includes the following;
-Educate Store Partners and District leaders on Inventory management techniques, operational shortage drivers, as well as safety and
security protocols.
-Analyze data from multiple sources to ensure inventory accuracy of the stockroom, salesfloor, and hold areas for fulfillment.
-Manage the district budget for salaried leaders and their teams, store expenses, supplies, and recognition.
-Hire, teach, train and develop Assets Protection Leaders for each store.
-Mitigate safety and security risks in my district by creating sustainable strategies.
-Create district wide strategies to reduce theft and enhance Law Enforcement partnerships.
-Drive Customer service initiatives across the district to ensure Guest Satisfaction and maximize profitability.
-Document & Locate property and evidence from various incidents.
-Display customer service skills by directly engaging with the public for Return of property and evidence items.
-Destroy unclaimed property and evidence.
-Data Entry.
-Engaged with every department within the city of mountain view every day to provide excellent customer service by making sure their material and supplies needs were met.
-Used software to account for supplies and materials from the city Warehouse upon request for city employee walk-ins and items to be delivered.
-Pulled proper quantity of materials, supplies, and equipment using forklift and/or pallet jack and then delivered materials throughout ALL city departments daily in the city vehicle.
-Picked up and dropped off intradepartmental mail daily and interacted with city employees.
-Utilized a forklift to move inventory in warehouse and unload inventory from delivery trucks.
-Assisted the Buyer in doing yearly inventory at the warehouse. -Learned about bidding process from Asst. buyer/Buyer in regards to RFP's, Formal, etc.
