Projects

  • Get Hot Alarm – Worked in collaboration with Alex Good to program an Arduino and other hardware that would track ambient temperature and display it, as well as a message with a timer that tells you how long you should warm up your car before you drive. The machine also has a built-in buzzer that will sound once the timer hits zero.
  • Electronic Scale – Worked in collaboration with Jacob Mumy to design a LabVIEW program that is able to calculate and display a given weight up 50g using a DAQ and a Sharp IR sensor. We integrated this program into a frame that we designed in SolidWorks and 3D printed using Bamboo Lab
  • A.R.I.S. Automated Roofing Robot (Current) - Working in Collaboration with Timber Parlin, Mia Lopez, Izaiah Padilla, Jaeden Mitchell, Joe Boeglin, Ariana Lindhardt, Micheal Goertz, and Zander Snow, to create a robot that can traverse a commercial roof and induction weld the roofing plates with little to no human interaction. This machine when complete should be able to take the place of human commercial roofers.
